Questions
Moving in Perth, answered.
- How far ahead should I book an interstate move out of Perth?
- As early as you reasonably can. Interstate work out of WA runs on planned departures rather than on demand, so booking late narrows your options rather than just costing more. Tell us your dates as soon as you have them, even if they are not confirmed.
- How long will my things take to reach the east coast?
- We give an estimated delivery window when we quote and keep you updated if it changes. Transit times are always estimates, never guarantees - they depend on the route, the season and road conditions.
- Can my car travel across at the same time?
- Yes. It is a long way to drive, so it is worth having the car travel with everything else. We offer door-to-door and depot-to-depot, and confirm which suits your route before you book.
- I am on a FIFO roster and will not be there on the day. Is that a problem?
- No, provided there is someone at each end who can make decisions - which room something goes in, whether an item comes or stays. It does not have to be you. Tell us early who that person is so they are briefed rather than surprised.
